Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate month-end/year-end close processes
- Lead accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement reviews
- Support external audits and prepare documentation for regulatory submissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and MS Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience managing month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
