Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with 98%+ accuracy targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Excel automation
- Conduct internal audits and maintain robust financial documentation systems
- Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong remote work experience with self-directed time management
