Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 100+ employees
- Prepare and maintain GAAP-compliant financial statements and tax documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and California tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage remote teams and asynchronous workflows
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
