Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Excel
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication abilities for client interactions
- Remote work experience with self-management capabilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
