Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve financial reporting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system (NetSuite/QuickBooks).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a remote or hybrid setting.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage).
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and strong data analysis abilities.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and regulatory compliance.
