Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax filings
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Proven experience managing financial audits and compliance processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
