Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL reconciliation, month-end close, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable with strict adherence to SOX compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel modeling
- Lead audits and ensure regulatory compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VBA/advanced functions), and accounting software
- Demonstrated success in month-end closes and financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
