Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance (federal/state/local)
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Assist in annual audits and tax preparation documentation
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online/Advanced
- Provide financial insights to guide strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Texas tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
