Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead financial analysis initiatives supporting strategic decision-making for key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain internal controls ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and drive efficiency
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements to executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and payroll coordination
- Implement continuous improvement strategies for financial reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel modeling (VBA a plus)
- Proven track record in month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Ability to thrive in autonomous environments with minimal supervision
