Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 high-value client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with 98% accuracy
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for remote team efficiency
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews across client accounts
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary financial software platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote teams
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel data modeling
- Proven track record in multi-state tax compliance and reporting
- Expertise in GAAP principles and SOX compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail-oriented deliverables
- Excellent written communication for client-facing financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) a significant plus
