Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax preparation
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in multi-state compliance and payroll processing
