Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and expense management systems
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits with documentation and analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced ERP and accounting software platforms
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects independently
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interactions
