Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Lead audit coordination and provide supporting documentation to external auditors
- Streamline accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online and NetSuite platforms
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Excel
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
