Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including FLSA, FICA, and Louisiana labor laws
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and complex benefit calculations for 401(k) and health plans
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with HRIS systems
- Prepare quarterly tax filings and annual W-2/1099 distributions
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and compensation changes
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal and Louisiana payroll tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex calculations
- Experience with garnishment administration and compliance reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
