Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to oversee the end-to-end payroll process for a diverse workforce. You will ensure timely and accurate payments while maintaining strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payroll for over 500 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure full compliance with FLSA, federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Review and reconcile timekeeping and attendance data to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reconciliations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related employee inquiries and issues.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to implement compensation changes and bonuses.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paylocity, or Ceridian).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and payroll tax laws.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data analysis capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high ethical standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
