Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll bi-weekly using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely distribution
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings for MA, NH, RI, CT, and other states
- Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and journal entries for financial reporting
- Administer employee benefits enrollments, terminations, and COBRA compliance
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Implement process improvements using Excel macros and Power BI analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent HRIS expertise
- Deep knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, state unemployment)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table proficiency
- Proven ability to manage confidential employee data with discretion
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
