Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry trends
- Prepare detailed credit reports and portfolio risk evaluations
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Monitor existing portfolio for early risk identification
- Develop and present credit recommendations to credit committee
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in credit analysis software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, Sageworks)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and risk management principles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with SBA loan processing preferred
