Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FUTA, TWC)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Lead payroll system implementations and process improvement initiatives
- Act as primary contact for payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual payroll reviews
- Generate payroll analytics and executive reports for finance leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of Texas payroll tax laws and wage & hour regulations
- Proven experience with payroll audits and compliance reporting
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential data with discretion
