Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and tax compliance
- Conduct quarterly and annual payroll audits with external auditors
- Implement and maintain payroll policies in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee timekeeping system integration and troubleshooting
- Lead payroll system implementations and upgrades
- Provide payroll support during mergers and acquisitions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR-related field
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proven experience managing payroll audits and compliance
- Ability to maintain 100% accuracy in high-volume processing
