Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions with 100% accuracy
- Prepare and file federal/state payroll tax forms (941, 940, DE-6, etc.)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies within SLAs
- Administer employee leave balances and FMLA/CFRA compliance
- Lead payroll audits and implement process improvements
- Train payroll assistants on system protocols and compliance updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Expert knowledge of CA wage orders and federal labor regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven experience with payroll audits and compliance documentation
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
