Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage tax filings, year-end reconciliations, and garnishment processing
- Collaborate with HR to resolve payroll discrepancies and implement process improvements
- Conduct quarterly audits and prepare payroll reports for executive review
- Oversee 401(k) administration and benefits deductions
- Lead payroll system testing during upgrades and implementations
- Document and maintain payroll policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of federal/state tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, state unemployment)
- Experience with garnishment processing and wage attachments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
