Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, NY, TX)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and complex benefit enrollments
- Conduct quarterly reconciliations and year-end tax filings (Form 941, W-2)
- Implement process improvements using Power BI analytics
- Lead payroll audits and internal control assessments
- Train HR and finance teams on payroll systems and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 5+ years payroll experience
- Advanced certification (CPP, FPC) or CPA preferred
- Expertise in multi-state payroll compliance (CA, NY, TX)
- Proficient with ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, and ACA regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Experience with 401(k) administration and stock option plans
- Proven track record in payroll audits and process optimization
