Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliations
- Lead payroll audits and compliance initiatives (FLSA, CA labor laws)
- Implement process improvements reducing payroll errors by 15%+
- Train payroll team on new systems and regulatory updates
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and timekeeping
- Prepare executive payroll reports and analytics
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience (multi-state preferred)
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Deep knowledge of CA payroll regulations and FLSA compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience with payroll audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred
