Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, FL, NY)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 99.9% accuracy
- Conduct quarterly and annual payroll reconciliations and audits
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings (941, 940, state forms)
- Implement process improvements using payroll analytics tools
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within SLA timeframe
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent SaaS proficiency
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, CA labor laws, and ERISA regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience with payroll audits and compliance reporting
- Experience with HRIS integration (Workday, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
