Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage federal, state, and local payroll tax filings and year-end reconciliations
- Develop and implement payroll process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Act as primary contact for payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR on benefits deductions, garnishments, and terminations
- Conduct payroll audits and ensure compliance with FLSA and IRS regulations
- Lead system upgrades and integration projects with HRIS platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience in multi-state environments
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state payroll tax laws and garnishment procedures
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payroll cycles (500+ employees)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with payroll system implementations and conversions
