Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including Form 941/W-2 filing
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and year-end reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with HR to integrate new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Generate payroll reports and analytics for executive leadership
- Conduct internal audits to identify process improvements
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, state wage laws, and IRS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proven ability to handle confidential data with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
