Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including FLSA and Louisiana labor laws
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and year-end reconciliations (W-2s, 1099s)
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Prepare quarterly tax filings and annual reports
- Implement process improvements for payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP certification or equivalent payroll software proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and Louisiana payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and ERP experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proven track record of meeting payroll deadlines
