Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including Form 941 and W-2 management
- Manage garnishments, 401(k) deductions, and other complex payroll deductions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with precision
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll policy updates
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external auditors
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, DOL regulations, and state-specific payroll laws
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial data
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and HRIS systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
