Join our dynamic finance team as a Senior Payroll Specialist in Seattle, WA! We're seeking a meticulous professional to manage end-to-end payroll operations for 500+ employees. Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees including garnishments, bonuses, and commissions
- Manage time and attendance systems integration with payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, WA labor laws)
- Prepare and file payroll tax forms (941s, W-2s, state unemployment)
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with GL accounts
- Implement process improvements using ADP Workforce Now and SAP systems
- Support year-end reporting and 401(k) administration coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and Washington state payroll regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex reconciliations
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls
