Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FICA, FUTA, SUTA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Prepare and file quarterly/yearly tax forms (941, 940, W-2)
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes
- Implement payroll system enhancements and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Advanced knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, and ERISA regulations
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and payroll software
- Proven problem-solving skills with audit experience
- CPP certification preferred
- Experience with union payroll processing
