Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state (HI), and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and complex benefit deductions
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns and year-end forms (W-2, 1099)
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Implement process improvements using payroll analytics
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of Hawaii state tax laws and FLSA requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with payroll audits and compliance reporting
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
