Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance across 10 states
- Lead month-end/year-end payroll closings with zero tolerance for errors
- Oversee time and attendance system integration and troubleshooting
- Prepare payroll reports for CFO and external auditors
- Mentor junior payroll staff on compliance protocols
- Implement process improvements using Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience in multi-state environments
- Advanced ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and state payroll regulations
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and HRIS systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred
- Proven experience with union/non-union payroll structures
