Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll cycles for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FLSA, IRS)
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliations (W-2/1099)
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Implement payroll process improvements and audit controls
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within SLA timeframe
- Prepare payroll reports for CFO and external auditors
Qualifications
- 5+ years US payroll processing experience (multi-state preferred)
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent platform expertise
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation strongly preferred
- Experience with 401(k) and benefit administration integration
- Proven problem-solving skills with audit resolution experience
