Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across 20+ states using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations including FLSA, garnishments, and tax filings
- Manage time and attendance data integration, reconciling discrepancies with HRIS systems
- Prepare and submit year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and quarterly payroll tax filings
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies through root cause analysis
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments on payroll audits, benefits deductions, and compensation adjustments
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation in compliance with SOX requirements
- Lead payroll system testing and implementation for process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience using ADP Workforce Now
- Expert knowledge of federal/state payroll tax regulations and wage-hour laws
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and HRIS systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with garnishment processing and payroll audits
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
