Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Calculate and garnish deductions for benefits, taxes, and child support
- Ensure compliance with CA labor laws and IRS regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Generate payroll reports for executive team and auditors
- Manage new hire onboarding for payroll documentation
- Collaborate with HR on leave adjustments and benefit changes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian certification required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep knowledge of CA wage orders and overtime regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Experience with garnishment processing and tax filings
- Proven track record of 99.9% payroll accuracy
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple priorities
