Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll including garnishments, bonuses, and deductions
- Administer timekeeping systems and reconcile discrepancies
- Prepare and file federal/state payroll tax forms (941s, unemployment reports)
- Conduct payroll audits and maintain meticulous record-keeping
- Support year-end processing including W-2 distribution and 1099 reporting
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll policy updates
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with exceptional service
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll systems
- Deep understanding of FLSA, Texas labor laws, and IRS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table expertise
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Business preferred
- CPP certification or willingness to pursue within 6 months
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
