Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wages for deductions, taxes, and benefits deductions
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, ACA, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Prepare quarterly tax filings (941, 940) and year-end W-2s
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within SLA timeframe
- Audit time records and PTO accruals for accuracy
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent payroll software
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, ACA, and state wage-hour laws
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Strong analytical skills for reconciling complex accounts
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
