Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance across DC, MD, VA jurisdictions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with precision
- Support year-end processing including W-2/1099 generation and IRS filings
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll integration
- Implement process improvements using Excel macros and Power BI analytics
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll system proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, DOL, and DC/MD/VA tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA and data visualization capabilities
- Proven attention to detail with 0% error rate in prior roles
