Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll with precision, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments through ADP Workforce Now
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with internal/external stakeholders
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax reports (941, 940, state filings)
- Support HR initiatives including new hire onboarding and payroll system upgrades
- Document all payroll processes and maintain compliance with FLSA and state regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state knowledge
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent system expertise
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll software
- Strong understanding of FLSA, CA labor laws, and tax compliance
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
