Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations with a focus on accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger during off-peak hours.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for upper management.
- Conduct internal audits and verify the validity and accuracy of financial transactions.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
