Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures and reconcile complex multi-currency accounts
- Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP standards
- Lead VAT compliance submissions and HMRC correspondence
- Oversee payroll processing for international workforce across 3 time zones
- Manage fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Conduct internal control audits and implement process improvements
- Coordinate with external auditors during night shift handovers
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent international certification
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in public practice or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and Excel VBA
- Demonstrated experience with multi-currency consolidations
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously during night shift operations
