Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, society, and markets to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Design scenario-planning models for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future insights into innovation roadmaps
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior executives
- Published thought leader in futurism or strategic foresight (portfolio required)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in global organizations
