Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and trend impact matrices
- Produce high-impact future-state roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Facilitate executive workshops on exponential technologies and their organizational implications
- Author thought leadership publications and predictive analytics reports
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems between R&D, marketing, and operations
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-technical variables affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Strong data visualization and scenario modeling capabilities
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future strategy implementations
- Deep understanding of climate adaptation and ethical tech governance
