Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 global innovation strategy using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and NASA JPL
- Present quarterly futures briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven resource allocation
- Author annual 'State of the Future' whitepaper read by Fortune 500 CEOs
- Lead ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and societal impact
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful exits)
- Expertise in exponential technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published futurist with keynote experience at Davos, TED, or SXSW
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Certified in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFS) or Strategic Foresight Professional
- Experience leading global teams across 5+ continents
- Portfolio of 2020-2025 trend predictions with >85% accuracy
