Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks to map 2026 technology and societal trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on future market disruptions
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies with 5-year impact
- Author high-impact trend reports and white papers published in industry journals
- Build and curate a global network of futurists, academics, and innovation pioneers
- Design and launch internal 'Future Labs' to incubate 2026-viable concepts
- Advose C-suite on strategic pivots and investment opportunities for 2026+ landscape
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology forecasting
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (minimum 3 peer-reviewed papers)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with Fortune 500 executive experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ strategic initiatives implemented with measurable impact
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
