Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, policy, and social domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives and market evolution
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagements to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Quantify future market scenarios and risk assessments through data modeling and scenario planning
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations on emerging trends and strategic foresight
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 organizations
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and foresight frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated experience with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership in recognized industry journals or platforms
