Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, social patterns, and market disruptions with 3-5 year impact horizons
- Develop strategic frameworks and scenario-planning models for 2026+ business environments
- Present executive-level insights through compelling visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Establish cross-functional foresight protocols to embed future-thinking across organizational units
- Author thought leadership publications and industry presentations on future trends
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects influencing business strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS) strongly preferred
