Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, societal, and economic shifts
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks to guide R&D investment and innovation pipelines
- Produce executive-level foresight reports and predictive modeling for board-level decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and policy
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advocate ethical foresight practices and mitigate systemic risks in emerging technologies
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative/qualitative field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend extrapolation, and disruption mapping
- Published thought leadership in futurism, technology ethics, or long-term strategy
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy or policy development
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate resilience, and human augmentation trajectories
