Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Process payroll using QuickBooks or similar software and ensure tax filings are accurate.
- Perform monthly close procedures and assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with management to identify process improvements and financial efficiencies.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with NetSuite or Sage Intacct is a plus.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
