Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes and ensure GAAP compliance across all financial statements
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for 15+ departmental units
- Manage internal controls implementation and SOX compliance procedures
- Direct accounts payable/receivable operations and cash flow optimization strategies
- Collaborate with executive team on M&A financial due diligence and integration
- Mentor junior accounting staff through structured professional development programs
- Implement advanced financial modeling using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with public/private sector blend
- Expert proficiency in financial reporting software (QuickBooks, BlackLine)
- Demonstrated success in leading SOX 404 audits and control remediation
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query and VBA experience
- Strong strategic financial planning and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of process improvement in accounting operations
